this painting contains a number of references to my cousin ben,
including his first and last initial, silver foil (a play on his name),
stamps from china, (where he has lived), maps of china and new york.
There is russian text, and there will be a turkish charm,
reference to his heritage.

I just want to say this is a great idea. A few years ago, I did a drypoint etching a day for a month, and then bound them into a very small limited edition of handmade books--kind of a daily print diary. Best of luck on your project! I'll be back again to visit--
