when I started this blog, it was with the idea of creating a structure and discipline, to improve my drawing and painting, and to teach myself how to paint with oils, of which I am very intimidated.
I wanted to do representational paintings, to have that practice.
Here is my first oil painting in a very, very, very long time.
I have absolutely no idea what I am doing, AND I have naples yellow all over my face.
(I also have renewed admiration and respect for those who have mastered this gooey medium)
